Using Toolonit

Toolonit is a free collection of tools that run in your web browser. You can use them without an account. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

Provided as is

The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. They are built and tested with care, but a result can still contain mistakes — a misread word in recognized text, an unexpected color in a converted image — and the site may change or be unavailable at times. Check the results that matter to you, and keep your original files.

Your files, your responsibility

Your files stay on your device and remain yours; Toolonit never receives them. You are responsible for the files and text you process, for having the right to use them, and for what you do with the results.

Encryption and hashing tools

You are responsible for using the encryption and hashing tools lawfully; the rules on encryption differ from country to country. Keep your passwords and keys safe: they never leave your device, so Toolonit can't recover a lost password or key, and data encrypted with it can't be decrypted without it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Toolonit is not liable for any loss or damage arising from using the site or from being unable to use it, including lost or damaged data.

Open-source software

Toolonit is built with open-source software and models, each under its own license. The Open-source licenses page, linked at the bottom of every page, lists them with their notices.

Changes and contact

Tools may be added, changed or removed, and these terms may be updated; the date shows the current version. Last updated: September 25, 2026.
